This is the amplicon context sequence in accordance with the minimum information for the publication of real-time quantitative PCR experiements (MIQE) guidelines. For more details, please refer to the following publication, "Primer Sequence Disclosure: A Clarification of the MIQE Guidelines."
Real-time PCR probe assay designed for gene expression analysis. Probe assays consist of unlabeled PCR primers and a dual labeled fluorescent probe.

This gene encodes a protein that is involved in cytokinesis. The encoded protein is at high level during S and G2/M and drop dramatically after cell exit mitosis and enter G1. It is located in the nucleus during interphase and becomes associated with mitotic spindles in a highly dynamic manner during mitosis and localizes to the cell mid-body during cytokinesis. This protein has been shown to be a substrate of several cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs). At least three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed.
