This is the amplicon context sequence in accordance with the minimum information for the publication of real-time quantitative PCR experiements (MIQE) guidelines. For more details, please refer to the following publication, "Primer Sequence Disclosure: A Clarification of the MIQE Guidelines."
Real-time PCR probe assay designed for gene expression analysis. Probe assays consist of unlabeled PCR primers and a dual labeled fluorescent probe.
PrimePCR™ PreAmp for Probe Assay: BHLHE22, Human
PrimePCR™ Template for Probe Assay: BHLHE22, Human
BHLHE22 belongs to the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) family of transcription factors that regulate cell fate determination proliferation and differentiation. These proteins function as dimers and bind to an E-box DNA sequence (CANNTG). BHLHE22 is expressed exclusively in the central nervous system and retina (Xu et al. 2002 [PubMed 12213201]).[supplied by OMIM Jul 2010]
Products used to generate validation data:
Amplification of cDNA generated from universal RNA.
Melt curve analysis of above amplification.
Standard curve generated using 20 million copies of template diluted 10 fold to 20 copies.
