This is the amplicon context sequence in accordance with the minimum information for the publication of real-time quantitative PCR experiements (MIQE) guidelines. For more details, please refer to the following publication, "Primer Sequence Disclosure: A Clarification of the MIQE Guidelines."
Real-time PCR probe assay designed for gene expression analysis. Probe assays consist of unlabeled PCR primers and a dual labeled fluorescent probe.

The gene encodes a gamma-glutamyltransferase (AKA gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase, EC 188.8.131.52) that is located in the apoplast of young siliques (within the ovules of the carpel) and is involved in the degradation of glutathione. The encoded enzyme also acts as part of a GSH pumping gamma-glutamyl cycle in this tissue and may also be involved in gamma-glutamyl amino acid formation.
