Question:

How do I remove air bubbles from the detector flow cell of my NGC™ Chromatography System?


Answer:

Tips to reduce bubbles include warming up your multiwave detector for 30 to 60 min before use and flowing buffer at 0.1–0.2 ml/min in the manual mode until a stable/flat baseline is achieved before starting a method.

The single-wavelength and multiwavelength detectors may be inspected for bubbles and cleaned if needed, and this video explains the steps required, from to removing the detector Flow Cell l from the NGC System and cleaning the flow cell with 2% Contrad 70.
