LF PVDF Membranes Have Lower Autofluorescence than PVDF Membranes


LF PVDF membranes have lower autofluorescence than traditional PVDF membranes. Membranes were scanned dry on a
VersaDoc™ MP 5000 system in blue excitation for 5 sec, green excitation for 5 sec, and red excitation for 20 sec. Each background was determined using Image Lab™ software.

Linear signal for accurate blot quantitation. Different dilutions of an albumin-depleted human serum sample were loaded on a
Criterion™ TGX™ 4–20% gel and transferred to a low fluorescence PVDF membrane using tank blotting. The primary antibody used was rabbit anti-transferrin antibody and the secondary antibody was donkey anti-rabbit Alexa Fluor 568. The membrane was scanned using a VersaDoc™ MP 5000 system. Quantitation of the band was performed using Image Lab™ software.

Multiplex Detection of Two Targets Simultaneously


Multiplex detection of two targets simultaneously. Albumin-depleted human serum samples spiked with STI and Profinia™ GST extract run on a Criterion™ TGX™ 4–20% stain-free gel, transferred to a membrane of choice, and blotted. The primary antibodies used were goat anti-GST and rabbit anti-STI. The secondary antibodies used were anti-rabbit Alexa Fluor 546 and anti-goat Alexa Fluor 488. The membranes were scanned using a VersaDoc™ MP 5000 system.
