Description

Kallestad® HEp-2 Complete Kits are intended for the detection and semi-quantitation of antinuclear antibodies (ANA) using the indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA) procedure. Each kit contains all the necessary components for the procedure: HEp-2 substrate slides, FITC conjugate, PBS, mounting medium, negative control, homogeneous positive control, Evans blue counterstain and blotters. Bio-Rad offers HEp-2 Complete Kits in several sizes. Individual components are also sold separately for maximum flexibility in ordering.

 

Kallestad® HEp-2 slides contain a large number of mitotic cells to help in pattern verification. Slide wells are spaced for use with a multichannel pipette. The kits are validated for use on Bio-Rad’s automated PhD™ System for autoimmune IFA and EIA testing.
